Director of Elementary Kids Ministry

The heartbeat of Dacia’s passion for kids’ ministry is  “…tell to the coming generation the glorious deeds of the Lord and His might, and the wonders that He has done… So that they should set their hope in God.” Psalm 78:4 -7

Dacia  graduated from Cedarville University in 1995 with a degree in Elementary Education. She and her husband, Jason, moved to the Sauk Valley area in ’96 when Jason was hired as the youth pastor at HTBC. Since then Dacia has been involved in kids and youth ministries as a volunteer in various capacities.

She taught school for 2 1/2 years, then she and Jason began a family in 1999. They have 5 children whom she homeschooled through 2018. Dacia’s favorite church ministry has been directing kids’ musicals since the Christmas of 1996. She has also enjoyed leading a Good News Club, being an AWANA council time teacher, teaching the 5th & 6th grade girls Life Group, and teaching kids church. She joined the HTBC staff in January of 2018 and is still invested in these ministries.
